Job Overview:
As Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Project Manager and team members to develop project plans, timelines, and
budgets for our clientele.
Your Responsibilities:
- Walkthrough Coordination and Scheduling:
- Schedule Buyer walkthrough dates with brokers, Buyers, or their designated representatives.
- Ensure walkthroughs are conducted two weeks prior to the closing date.
- Perform physical or virtual walkthroughs to document construction deficiencies or inconsistencies.
- Punchlist Management:
- Create, manage, and update closing and walkthrough schedule reports.
- Photograph and detail all remaining construction deficiencies during walkthroughs.
- Prepare and distribute punch list reports to Sponsors within 48 hours of walkthroughs.
- Ensure all punch list items are tracked through a master tracking sheet, including responsible parties and deadlines.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates to Sponsors, unit owners, and building staff regarding construction schedules and punch list progress.
- Coordinate Permission to Enter requests with unit owners for necessary work.
- Communicate with the construction team to schedule and complete required work.
- Quality Control and Inspection:
- Inspect each item on the contractor’s completion report weekly to accept or reject work on behalf of the Sponsor.
- Attend weekly coordination meetings and conduct site walkthroughs with the construction team to approve completed items.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain and update master tracking sheets, punch list reports, and long lead item tracking sheets.
- Create and manage a Dropbox folder with all relevant reports and documentation.
- Provide unit owners with updated punch list reports and final completion letters once all items are signed off by the Sponsor.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in project/construction management.
- Understanding of NYC department of building codes and permitting processes.
- Strong knowledge of building electrical and mechanical laws and codes.
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Project, is a must.
- Preferred Qualifications: PE License and or PMP.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:
$21.63 - $26.44 / hour
